Return & Refund Policy
Quick summary
We stand behind our products and want you to feel confident ordering from No-BS Meats. Because we sell perishable, frozen meat products, returns work a little differently than non-food items.
Perishable items (meat) — returns
For food safety reasons, we do not accept returns of perishable items, including all beef, pork, boxes, bundles, and shares, once they have been delivered or shipped.
If there’s an issue with your order, we’ll make it right through a replacement, store credit, or refund as described below.
When you may be eligible for a refund, replacement, or credit
Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery if any of the following occur:
- Your order arrives damaged (packaging compromised, product exposed)
- Your order arrives thawed or above safe temperature
- You receive the wrong items
- Items are missing from your order
- Product quality concerns (unusual odor, discoloration, or you believe the product is not up to standard)
What we may ask for
To help us resolve the issue quickly, we may request:
- Your order number
- Photos of the product and packaging (including the shipping label)
- A brief description of the issue
How we resolve issues
Depending on the situation, No-BS Meats may offer one of the following:
- Replacement (when available)
- Store credit
- Partial refund
- Full refund
Resolution method is determined at our discretion based on the nature of the issue and available inventory.
Shipping delays and carrier issues
Once an order has been handed off to the carrier, delivery timelines are not fully within our control. That said, if a shipment is delayed and arrives in an unsafe condition (thawed/above safe temperature), contact us within 48 hours of delivery and we’ll work with you on a fair resolution.
Local delivery
If your order is delivered locally and you believe there is an issue, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. If possible, keep the product and packaging until we resolve the claim.
Deposits and beef/pork shares
Beef and pork shares often require a deposit to reserve your share.
- Deposits are refundable within 5 business days of purchase (as long as your share has not been scheduled for processing and/or otherwise committed to fulfillment).
- After 5 business days, deposits are non-refundable because they reserve inventory and processing.
- If No-BS Meats cannot fulfill your share for any reason, you will receive a full refund of your deposit.
If you need to change your pickup/delivery date or have questions about your share timeline, contact us as soon as possible and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
Cancellations (non-perishable items)
For non-perishable items such as merchandise (shirts, mugs):
- Unworn/unused items may be returned within 14 days of delivery.
- Customer is responsible for return shipping unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method after we receive and inspect the item.
Refund timing
If a refund is approved, it will be issued to your original payment method. Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your bank/payment provider.
